Watched 500 Days of Summer with Kimberle yesterday! The movie will only be released in 8 days time, but I got to watch a preview of it thanks to Nokia Comes with Music! :) The movie's really good, a romantic comedy that is bound to make you laugh quite a bit! And this very song! I am seriously addicted to it! Though it only appeared at the credits, it's so apt, especially after the girl mentioned her name! Shan't spoil the movie for you, so go watch it and you will know what I mean! Haha.
Time flies! It's the very last day of September now! Suddenly, no idea why, but the song 'Wake me up when September ends' just come to my mind. I guess my senses are trying to jolt me up coz it's really the end of September; there ain't much time left before the end of this semester comes. And that just means all the hell from the exams as well as my performance for the very beginning of my uni life. Ahhh! Alright! Hopefully all turns out well. Till then! :)

She's Got You High!
After anticipating this very week for what seemed like eternity, RECESS WEEK has finally arrived!!! WOOHOO! This means a seriously much needed break for me, for school has been real demanding and very crazy! Just last Thursday, I had three CAs in one single day! It's like, after not studying for so long, I had to get that cranky brain to run beyond it's allowable capacity so as to cram 3 subjects worth of information into my head! Lol. Thankfully I must say the CAs went pretty ok! And therefore, I feel that I totally deserve this very break right now! :)
There's also many reasons for me to be high for this coming week! Ha! To begin, tomorrow, Tuesday, will be an extremely happening day for me! Volunteer Orientation Camp(VOC), organised by RSPHI, will start as early as 8am tomorrow! Looking forward to this for it's gonna be one full day of fun activities, as well as making lots of new friends. Speaking of which I need to fine-tune my sign language by tonight, for I'm sure some activities will require using it! Haha.
Then in the evening, I will be attending a movie event with Kimberle! It's quite a story actually, starting from the point when I finally installed Nokia Comes With Music just at the beginning of the month. Totally love this service coz it allows me to download unlimited number of music for free, within a year! So I was just browsing around the albums that they have, and I happened to chance upon the soundtrack album for '500 Days of Summer'. At that time, I did not even know there was a lucky draw going on, whereby users who downloaded the album stand a chance to win a pair of tickets to the preview event of the movie. Being random, I downloaded the album and while listening, got hooked to the song 'She's Got You High' by Mumm-Ra. Weeks later, someone from the music store called me and congratulated me for being the lucky one who won those pair of tickets! Ha!
High I was! Lol! I seldom win stuff, coz I consider myself having not much luck with such draws. Haha. So I'm extremely excited about this movie event tomorrow as well! The trailer of the movie looks good; hopefully I'll have a great time watching it with my movie buddy! :)
The rest of the week just gets more happening! On Thursday, for the first time, I will be driving from my house to Ubi! Haha. It may not sound like a big deal to you, but it sure is very much to me! I just hope that I will be able to control the accelerator/clutch pedal footing better. It's a skill I Haven't really fared well for the past few lessons, which not only resulted in more scoldings from my instructor, but also lowering my morale to rock bottom! Oh wells! Hopefully this Thursday's lesson will be a good one!
Then after, I'll be meeting Gloree for lunch! Have not seen this busy lady for the longest period of time. Lol! It shall be a great catch up session, though it's only going to last for so long, as she has lessons right after lunch! Ha.
Well, other than that, this week will be a crucial one for me to catch up with my academic work as well. Hopefully I'll have the discipline to do some productive studying, catching up with the rest of my peers. Most importantly, I've got to straighten out concepts that are still in the gray area; ensure that I start the second half of the semester with no doubts left behind! Ambitious it sure is, but I'll see to it that it gets done! Rah!
High! Very high indeed! I am so going to love this week! Woots! :D

My Eyes AdorED You
Song currently playing on my computer, "My Eyes Adored You".
It's a song I heard from the Broadway show 'Jersey Boys' which I watched in Chicago, about 3 months ago. And it's only after having Nokia Comes With Music, and having downloaded the entire album of Jersey Boys, that I get to revisit the great songs of the show! The album makes me rather emotional as well, for all the great memories of my travelling just simply rush back into my mind.
I love this song, especially the chorus, which goes like this.

Hai. Seriously, there's so much going through my mind right now it's beyond what I wish to express. All I will say is that the lyrics somewhat represent my current frame of thought, but then it's really time for me to let go. MOVE ON! Yet often it's just easy to say, and extremely hard to do! :( The pain that accompanies, to begin with, can be so unbearable. Hai. I wish, I really wish I will walk out of this real soon. Time to put a full stop to this and begin another chapter of whatever there is to come.
