Another Plead
I've got that dreaded range tmr! And the horrid part is that it'll be held at the place where I failed the other time! Plus weather ain't looking too good for tmr! Arghz! Please just grant me the wish of allowing my team and I to pass it, once and for all! Never have to worry about it again! Oh please! This is the final hurdle. Clear it, and I'd be free! So just let me pass the range tmr!!! :S
Insipiring One Another
Went out with Kimberle yesterday. Had some good food at Gloria Jean's Coffee at Vivocity. Had also a very good catch up session with her. Was telling her a lot about my life in TPO, as well as the reflections and thoughts that I had made recently. The good and bad side of TPO, the life values which I had picked up. Haha. I certainly had said loads, and I guess most of it were rather insipiring to her. In the sense that my words of experience inside there had a certain form of influence, and that it probably just makes you want to work harder in life! Lol.
And so she says I should write a book on all these experiences inside TPO. Haha. Well, considering that my GP scored a low C6, and that I already have problems trying to speak coherently, all the more write! Lol. Yet she says she could help me out, like I can give the ideas while she piece them together nicely, or something like that. And of course, being the usual me, my thoughts began to run wild. Haha. I was picturing my 'book' hitting the shelves of local bookstores, hundreds and hundreds of them, while people of all ages, especially the males of course, buying it away! Lol. Yeah I know, fat dream! I cannot even lay pen to paper proper. Oh wells.
I then raised the topic about what I want to do after I ORD. Was hoping to be able to work in some bank, like Barclays, get a fat pay check so as to be able to finance whatever overseas trip I choose to go next year. Guess what?! Kim proposes me going overseas to work instead. Like in UK, where her bf does data entry job and earns 3k pounds per month! My goodness. That kind of money is seriously tempting man! And so, I'm now inspired by her bf's example; shall go find out how am I going to go overseas to work! Earn a good sum of money, as well as have some form of overseas living experience. YEAH! :D
A great day well spent yesterday! Sent Chieh Hwee off at the airport too! She gets to board the A380!! ARGHZ! I'm so jealous. Lol. Oh wells. Take care in London alright. Mug hard! I shall end here now. Tada.

A Long Recap
It has been a really long while since I had blogged properly. Have been leaving behind very short and half-hearted posts recently. Well, I just cannot help it myself, coz there's just no motivation to lift my spirits to write proper. So much has happened for the past week, and so much more is bound to happen in the coming times. Somehow there just seems to be an unending list of task to complete, so much it's seriously overwhelming. Hai. We humans just cannot be satisfied now, isn't it?! If only I could be granted with more time... Lol!
The past 2 weeks have been rather 'eventful' in the undesirable sense! For one thing, I'm really glad that ACCT's finally over! And thankfully I've passed! However, very unfortunately, I have to sustain certain forms of injuries. There weren't very major, but good enough to coz me quite an amount of pain. First was a power kick from a good friend of mine! Lol! I'm not blaming him lah, it was all part of the efforts to show our aggression while sparring! It's just that his kick seriously did deliver some punch in it! Directed on my hips, it resulted in a rather large bruise, coupled with some internal and external bleeding. It was so painful that I had much difficulty walking that day!
Still, this injury was not as bad as what I had gotten the very next day. I was doing a front break fall for this certain technique, and in an extremely unlucky sense, someone beside me had flung his dummy rifle far enough to hit my big toe on the left foot! Now that was some serious pain alright! At first I thought it wouldn't be much, and that the pain would go away. But after like 5 minutes in agony, I thought something was wrong, and thus decided to remove my socks to take a look. What I saw simply horrified me. The entire toe nail was extremely loose, half of it jutting out of the toe, while blood simply filled the insides of it. At that moment, I thought, that's it! 5 days of hard work will be gone to waste coz I wouldn't be able to take the grading the very next day! But after much thinking, and self-determination, I've decided to bite my teeth and pull through the grading, no matter how much pain it's gonna take me! I'm certainly glad now that I've made that decision! Or else it'll be one more obstacle bothering me, and I'd be feeling even more miserable to know that others have completed it while I did not.
Went to the MO to get advice over how my toe should be treated. He gave me two options; to let it grow and drop out by itself, or the medics could get the pliers and pull the nail out. Obviously I'd chosen the former! Who would be so crazy as to submerge himself in immense pain right?! Haha. Well, it also meant that I would be excused from footwear for a week. Which was what bothered me greatly next. Coz I'd be having outfield in the coming week, starting on the Sunday. Hence, the previous post. Try imagining, staying out in the forest in improper footwear, sandals! Picture sleeping at night, without proper cover over the foot, all the creepy crawlies. Man, it just sends chills down your spine alright! Arghz!
I tried wearing shoes on Sunday. But it was just a total impossibility. The pain was excruciating, and it made me look like a serious handicap. Thus I had no choice but to go outfield in sandals. Wore a pair of socks over the feet, so as to give it some form of protection. Just the socks alone already gave me quite a degree of discomfort, imagine what the shoes were doing to me.
Outfield was, as usual, absolute insanity! In the middle of the night, at 0200H, where it's suppose to be time for sleeping, we were actually still out there deploying. Madness man! To think that the super upstairs wanted us to keep working through the night. Thankfully that torrential rain, coupled with glaringly close lightnings and sonorous thunders, came at around 0300H! Although it was a slight hindrance in the sense that everyone had to squeeze into my small vehicle to sleep, which meant sleeping in sitting positions only, the rain certainly was a blessing in disguise. Coz whatever that super upstairs planned to do thereafter had to be cancelled, thus allowing us to catch some winks! Oh wells. This outfield, though the duration looks short, like only 3D2N, it's really a draggy one. Especially coz the hours that meant for sleep had to be used for work! I'm just glad that it's finally over, and even more considering the fact that I managed to survive through in sandals and socks! Haha.
Cannot wait for this whole nonsense, plus India, to be over ASAP! Next outfield is on the 7th, 4D3N! Sian man! Oh wells. I guess this post is long enough. Till then.

not in a good mood
Nothing much. Same old words to say. I cannot wait for this week to be over! Coz that will mean that ACCT is finally out of the way! Well, of course I must pass the grading, and hopefully I will. I just simply hate it to the core. It's wrecking havoc on my entire body. Each and every single inch of my body is aching alright. My neck is still as stiff as ever, unable to turn properly. Back feels broken, and the bruises aren't healing well. Arghz! 3 more days of torture to come. :x How I wish now is almost the end of Wednesday. Hai.
I really don't have much time to blog. Am particularly pissed off with some issues related to my parents. This weekend was not really well spent! I had originally set out certain tasks which I aimed to complete by this weekend. Unfortunately, I could not do so in the end. Why? It's because of my parents! It's not like I don't want to spend more time with my family, but I would prefer it to be spending quality time and not quantity time! Take yesterday for example. My estate organised this mid-autumn festival celebrations, and as usual, mother is in-charge of almost everything. (She's a committee member of the estate council.) Precisely because of that, she requested for my help. Well, I did not mind helping out. But she simply expects me to be there throughout the entire event! Like from 3pm all the way till the night! With absolutely nothing to do at certain periods can?! And she doesn't want me to be at home, thinking that the performances were more worth my time than the computer at home! It's total absurd can?! I could be at home working out certain stuff, thereby completing certain assignments. But in the end I could not. Freak man! Arghz. Very pissed off!
Nvm. I shan't rant anymore. What's happened has happened. I shall learn from it and not let it happen again in future. For now, I've got to get ready to book in. So early?! It's coz I have to be at my aunt's house for dinner, something I greatly resent doing. Oh wells. Hopefully I can have more time at home this coming week. Till then.

MAF 08
OH! What a great day it has been today! Ha. Realised I haven't been publishing lately; was simply too lazy to do so! But I've got some great moments to share now, and so here goes..
Before I begin, I must rant abit about TPO first! I seriously hate it alright! If not for TPO, today could have been a much better day. I could have enjoyed myself more, and not have to fret over some stupid activation! It's seriously nonsense can?! Coz I was informed that there's a high possibility of an activation over the weekends when I was out in the fields during the week. Was already damn sian with outfield. To have this unpleasant surprise springing on me, my mood totally hit rocked bottom then. I was so looking forward to the weekends, to MAF and stuff. The thought of losing my weekends, of being unable to attend to my plans, was simply inconceivable and an extremely painful one!
Things didn't get any better yesterday night. Was talking to Darius online, and then he told me he has this friend manning the ops in his camp. Told me that his friend mentioned something about the activation, and that there's a high chance it might happen next day morning. Arghz. I screamed at the top of my lungs when I read that line, and for a moment my sis thought I went mad! Lol. And so you know how it feels after that. Lost the mood to be enjoying, consistently fearing that the pager might ring. It sucks big time! Oh wells. Thankfully the day went on as usual, that in the end all this nonsense was nothing more than just a hoax that TPO simply loves to play. Well, I sure wish that it continue to remain as one, so that I can enjoy my Sunday peacefully. I want to spend it at home! Not in camp! So please, for the love of mother nature, please just leave me and all my friends alone! Arghz.
Alright! I shan't rant anymore. Let's talk about today! Went to Justin's house in the afternoon for a session of simming. It's really nice of him to invite me over and teach me how to fly. Haha. He's a god lite pro man. If there's a WCG for FSX, I'm sure he'll emerge champion! Lol. Lesson learnt? Landing a plane is so horribly difficult. There's so many instruments to monitor, you've got to like split your attention into a million parts and place focus on every single one of them. There's this to control, that to adjust, I basically felt like a baby learning how to eat; felt messy all over. Haha. Situations after situations I screw up; Justin simply manage to salvage them all with seemingly great ease! It's amazing man, the way he flies, and the amount of flight stuff that he has. Well, gotta look up to the pro! I shall set this target, to match my flying standards to his someday! Yeah, someday! Lol.
Went to attend MAF after that. Had class dinner at Oishi Pizza in Serene. I must say the pizzas are really good, much better than other local competitors. Price was very reasonable too. For $99, serving 10 people, you get four 14" pizzas, 10 chicken wings, 10 tempura sticks, 2 plates of veg salad and 2 1.45L of drinks. Haha. Looks like I'm promoting their place for free! But it's real good, and I recommend it to everyone. Went back to HC for MAF after dinner. Met up with loads of people whom I haven't seen in the longest period of time. TIP was one of them. Seniors and juniors of 78 as well. The atmosphere couldn't be anymore livelier. The lightings done by the student council was marvellous. The only sad part is that it has to rain. Still, the best part was the big reunion feeling. Come to think of it now, wish could have spent more time there catching up with them all. Ha. Oh wells. Looking forward to MAF next year!
It's late. Shall go rest now. Hopefully there would be no activation tmr. Till then.
